I'm not sure why it took me so long to realize that I could combine my life-long passions for reading, writing, television, film, and history into a means of taking Joseph Campbell's advice to "follow your bliss," but I think I'm beginning to finally figure it out. Here I'll be writing on all of the above, but I reserve the right to go off on other, quite unrelated tangents whenever the mood strikes. I live in North Carolina with my wife (a.k.a. Mockingbird); a goofy, white, shepherd-lab mix named Spooky; and a devious greyscale cat called Chiana.
